Croatia tours: Zagreb to welcome famous performers

Zagreb could see a profile boost among those planning Croatia holidays when it welcomes some famous musicians.

A host of well-known performers are set to visit the city to perform at the Zagreb Arena over the coming months, including Jean Michel Jarre, the electronic music pioneer known for albums such as Oxygene and Magnetic Fields.

The French performer will appear in the Croatian capital on October 11th.

Guitar music will also be well represented at the Zagreb Arena this year, with German band Rammstein set to bring their distinctive brand of industrial heavy metal to the venue on November 8th.

Are You Gonna Go My Way and Fly Away singer Lenny Kravitz will play the stadium on November 17th this year, before British favourite Tom Jones takes to the stage four nights later.

The events could enhance the profile of Zagreb, a destination that travellers can visit as part of a Croatia tour that also includes visits to the Adriatic cruise ports of Split and Krk.
