Sail Croatia team to raise money for Shooting Star Chase in Brighton Half Marathon

Taking a break from the busy work involved in organising Adriatic cruises and Croatia tours for the coming summer, six members of the Sail Croatia team  are preparing to run in Brighton Half Marathon.

They've been in training for the past couple of months for the seafront road race, which is now in its 22nd year and is scheduled for Sunday February 19th.

The team is raising money for the Shooting Star Chase charity, which provides hospice services in support of local families with a child or teenager not expected to reach their 19th birthday.

With the charity helping over 500 families living in western London, Surrey and West Sussex it is crucial that they maintain the funding required to continue caring for these families free of charge.

As such, the team has set a goal of raising £500 from friends and family with Sail Croatia promising to match this amount, creating a total goal of £1,000.

With the charity facing no guaranteed government funding every penny and pound of sponsorship will be appreciated and help ensure that Shooting Star Chase continues its important work.
