Nicholas Jaar to headline The Garden

If you've been eagerly waiting for the line-up to be announced for The Garden Festival 2012, then rest assured – the first tranche of names have been announced and at the top of the list are Nicolas Jaar and Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez.

The festival takes place in Tisno this summer and offers a perfect focal point to plan a Croatia holiday around.

Jaar is quickly developing a reputation around the world for his unique blend of organic electro and house. The Chilean may only be 22, but he's already won plaudits from some of the biggest names in the business for his techno-infused Space is Only Noise LP.

At the other end of the scale, Gonzalez is something of a veteran DJ, having been nominated for four Grammy awards thanks to his amazing fusions of house, hip-hop, Latin, jazz, funk, soul and broken beats.

Over 20 years, he has performed both as a solo artist and as half of the production and remix team Masters At Work, in which he features alongside "Little" Louie Vega.
