The XX and Friendly Fires confirmed at Croatia Cruise festival Terraneo

Indie music fans eager to enjoy a Croatia holiday alongside some top bands could be in for a treat with The XX and Friendly Fires confirmed at Terraneo.

From August 7th to 9th, music fans from across Europe will descend on the coastal town of Sibenik, with plenty of opportunities for an Adriatic cruise in the region.

Those heading over for the three-day festival can look forward to a series of impressive acts familiar to millions of music fans in the UK.

Among the headliners on show at the event are critically acclaimed group The XX.

Known for their somewhat chilled take on the Indie guitar sound, the band hit the headlines in 2010 after picking up the Mercury Music Prize for their self-titled debut album.

Festival favourite Friendly Fires are set to join them on the bill, bringing their memorable stage presence to the scorching heat of this Croatia holiday favourite.

Terraneo meanwhile offers holidaymakers a more eco-friendly festival experience at the Fort of St Nicholas situated in Sibernik.

With lectures, creative workshops and exhibitions all on hand to promote environmentally friendly practices, this could be a one-of-a-kind festival experience for the brain as well as the eyes.
