Mixmag offer taste of Planas before Croatia holiday appearance

Set to feature at Outlook Festival this summer, music fans can now download a special taster of what to expect from Planas.

Spread across the final weekend of August, Outlook festival is already shaping up to reach near-legendary status thanks to the presence of acts including Skream and ATribe Called Quest alumni Phife.

This week saw readers of Mixmag invited to sample the delights of another of the artists set to make it big at the Croatia holiday paradise that is Fort Punta Christo in Pula.

Originally from London, Planas has steadily built a reputation as a force within the UK dub scene. As the organisers of Outlook explain, "Planas creates bass-driven music usually around dubstep tempo."

What they fail to mention is just how good these beats sound in person – something that only those booking a trip to Outlook will ultimately discover.
