Hideout organiser promises a Croatia holiday with a difference

Mark Newton, one of the promoters behind the popular Hideout music festival, has promised that this summer’s event is likely to be the best yet for Croatia cruise fans.

Set to run from June 28th until July 3rd, the big bash sees the picturesque island of Pag transformed into a turbo-charged electronic music extravaganza.

This summer is already shaping up to be quite the party too, with the likes of DJ Fresh, Chase & Status and Annie Mac already among the headliners at the event.

Add to that appearances from Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice and Skrillex and Croatia certainly looks like the place to be this summer. It could also make for the ideal location for anyone seeking one of the regions famous Adriatic cruises, thanks to the close proximity of the Dalmatian coast.

For many though, the main focus will remain on the music and the range of activities promised by the organizers.

Speaking in a recent interview with the Yorkshire Evening Post, event promoter Mark Newton revealed that the team behind the event were pulling out all the stops to top last year’s festival.

“After a year of promoting and running the festival it has allowed us to change things that didn’t work, become more streamlined, and make improvements from both customer and staff feedback,” he explained.

Among the major changes unveiled by the gang was the introduction of a fourth party venue on site, dubbed the Kalypso stage.

“This was one of people’s favourite venues so we wanted to integrate it into the full festival, which, in turn, allows us to feature more artists,” he said.

The additional stage is not the only changes introduced, with the organizers taking note of the number of visitors combining the festival with a Croatia holiday in the region.

As Mr Newton explains: “The festival has more pre-festival shows organised, so entertainment on the island now runs from Tuesday-Monday.”

With additional boat parties and the added option of camping, this year’s festival is shaping up to be the best yet.
