Organisers state the case for a Croatia holiday at Soundwave

The team behind Soundwave Festival at The Garden in Tisno have called on party goers to buy up the last of the event's weekend tickets – or miss out on the Croatia holiday weekend of the year.

Running from Thursday July 19th until Monday July 23rd, the event is already set to be among the highlights of a busy summer in Croatia with three days of live music and five days of non-stop party action crammed in for good measure.

However, as if holidaymakers needed any more encouragement to attend, organisers have put together a few reasons why Tisno will be the place to be next month.

For starters the team point to this year's stellar line-up, which features a range of top international acts that are likely to give proceedings a unique flavour.

As such, they invite attendees to "Kick it at the beach to De La Soul at sunset or catch those rays aboard the Argonaughty, drink in hand as DJ Yoda brings the bangers."

The Argonaughty is the name of the famous boat party vessel that will be on hand throughout the event to provide unique Adriatic cruises that place an emphasis on fun.

Meanwhile the scenery, shops and local eateries of the neighbouring towns along with the flora and fauna of the Balkans are recommended, though the Soundwave team do offer some advice.

"Explore gorgeous hidden coves or the sun drenched town of Tisno and be back within the hour for funk insanity courtesy of Craig Charles," they noted.

Craig Charles is also set to provide a two hour set aboard the aptly titled The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Boat Party, which is set to depart at 6pm on Saturday.

Meanwhile, organisers are quick to point to the other benefits of a trip to the festival, with the site conveniently situated halfway between Split and Zadar, both of which are easily accessible by one of the many low-cost airlines operating in the UK.

As if all this wasn't enough, a longer stay in the region could provide plenty of opportunities for some proper sight-seeing via one of the many Adriatic cruises on offer up and down the Dalmatian coast.
