Enjoy the Night of the Full Moon on Croatia cruises

Holidaymakers will be able to stop off in the city of Zadar during Croatia cruises this summer to experience the Night of the Full Moon celebrations.

Scheduled for August 6th this year, the Night of the Full Moon is held annually to celebrate the links between Croatia's island and coastal cultures.

Zadar has a strong relationship with the islands that lie in the Adriatic Sea, having traded with them for many years.

The Night of the Full Moon celebrations hark back to years gone by as all public lighting on the quay is shut down and replaced by lanterns and candles.

Travellers on Croatia sailing holidays can head to Zadar to join in with the night-time festivities, with plenty of good food and wine served up on the seafront and music played to entertain the crowd.

Zadar also boasts many sights for people on Croatia sailing breaks to see, such as the Roman Forum and the church of St Mary.
