Hear the Soundwave on Croatia sailing breaks

There will be plenty of live music for people on Croatia sailing holidays to enjoy next month when the city of Petrcane hosts the Soundwave festival.

Petrcane is located on the Adriatic coast just north of Zadar, a destination that features on some Croatia sailing holiday itineraries.

This year, the Soundwave festival will run for three days from July 17th to 19th, taking place in three arenas and a boat located along the Petrcane seafront.

The line-up of artists for 2009 includes a number of big names from the UK underground hip-hop and electronic music scenes, including DJ Yoda, Hexstatic, Bonobo, DJ Format, Tom Middleton and many others.

Live gigs will be staged in an outdoor amphitheatre, while a beachside terrace will also be set up for performances throughout the day. Those planning to dance the night away can head to a nightclub that will be hosting festival events throughout the weekend.

Travellers can visit Zadar during a Croatia sailing holiday that also takes in popular locations such as Split, Vodice and Trogir.
