Check out the Kastav Summer Festival on Croatia cruises

Travellers can pay a visit to Kastav before or after setting off on Croatia cruises this year to experience its annual celebration of culture.

The Kastav Summer Festival got underway at the beginning of July and will run until August 18th.

People who visit the town during their Croatia holidays will be treated to all sorts of events, including art exhibitions, installations, live music concerts, theatre productions and more.

Visitors will find entertainment at a number of venues around Kastav, such as Lokvina Square and the St Jelena Krizarica church.

The Kastav Summer Festival is thought to be the oldest annual summer event in the Kvarner region, having been held every year since 1992.

Kastav is located in northern Croatia, close to the popular tourist destination of Rijeka and the port town of Opatija.

Travellers can visit Kastav before setting off on a Croatia cruise from Opatija that visits destinations including Krk, Rab and Zadar.
