Take a Croatia holiday to see Sting in Dubrovnik

Music fans could have the opportunity to see British rock star Sting live in concert during a Croatia sailing holiday this year.

The singer and his band the Police are set to give a show in Dubrovnik at the end of May or the beginning of June.

People enjoying Adriatic cruises will be able to see the gig as part of the city's summer line-up of cultural events, the Croatian Times reports.

The Police achieved most of their success in the late 1970s and early 80s, with four albums, including Ghost in the Machine and Synchronicity, reaching the top of the UK charts.

They released several hit singles, including Message in a Bottle, Walking on the Moon and Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.

Croatia sailing holidays will also provide the opportunity for travellers to visit Dubrovnik between 10 July and 25 August this year to experience the city's 61st Summer Festival.
