Get a Croatia cruise underway with some jazz

Music fans planning a Croatia cruise this year might be interested in starting their journey from Opatija to participate in a celebration of jazz.

The Liburnia Jazz Festival will be held in the port city from July 2nd to 4th.

One of the main aims of the event is to bring jazz - a genre that is often considered something of an acquired taste - to a broader audience and introduce more people to its appeal.

Travellers on Croatia sailing holidays will be able to visit the festival as part of their trip to hear performances by a number of talented musicians.

There will also be a number of events offering a further insight into the genre, including music workshops for absolute beginners.
