Get into photography on a Croatia sailing holiday

People planning to avoid the crowds by setting off on a Croatia sailing holiday during the spring season will have the opportunity to visit an exhibition that was recently launched in Dubrovnik.

A display of work by the photographer Toso Dabac opened at the city's Gallery of Modern Art on March 17th and will run until May 2nd.

People taking Adriatic cruises will be able to stop off in Dubrovnik to learn about the themes that ran through Dabac's work between the years of 1930 and 1960.

The exhibition brings together a total of 89 images, including the photographer's People From the Street series, which concentrated on the Croatian capital of Zagreb and its residents.

Visitors can also see 26 photographs of Dubrovnik that are being exhibited for the first time.

Travellers who visit the coastal city during an Adriatic cruise this year can see what exhibitions are running at other venues such as the Maritime Museum and the Home of Marin Drzic.
