Croatia holidays: Diversity 'most appealing part of Garden Festival'

Music fans planning to stop off at the Garden Festival in Petrcane during a Croatia sailing holiday this year will be in for some diverse experiences, according to one of the organisers of the event.

The festival will bring together a range of dance and electronic music acts on the country's Adriatic coast from July 2nd to 11th.

Eddie O'Callaghan, the event's creative director, said that the range of activities on offer to visitors is "what makes the Garden Festival unique".

"During the course of a single day you can relax in the sun, swim in crystal clear waters, experience the famous boat parties, watch world class acts on the main stage and party until dawn in the nightclub," he commented.

Travellers halfway through an Adriatic cruise can also take the opportunity to visit the historic town in whichthe festival is held.

"The beautiful old village of Petrcane, being only minutes from the music stages, really becomes part of the festival experience too," Mr O'Callaghan said.

Petrcane is located just a few miles north of Zadar, a city that features on a popular Adriatic cruise route.
