Dubrovnik to host film festival

The 2010 Libertas Film Festival is due to take place in Dubrovnik this summer, providing a special treat for families on Croatia holidays.

From July 2nd to 6th the city will be filled with actors, directors and script writers are they convene to show off their latest productions.

World and European premieres will be taking place during the event and movie buffs will also be able to discover some new filmmaking talent.

In previous years, the festival has been attended by top screen stars such as Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson, so holidaymakers may catch a glimpse of some famous faces this time around.

Events will be held at venues across the city, which means there will be plenty going on for all to see.

If visitors tire of all the glitz and glamour, they can spend some time exploring Dubrovnik's stunning old town, taking in the architecture and the views from the surrounding cliff tops.
