Croatia hosts 'top festival of the summer'

Croatia's Garden Festival, which already has a stellar line-up of dance acts, is tipped to be on of the hottest festivals in Europe this summer.

Writing for Cheapoair.com, Julia Buckley compiled a list of the top ten European summer festivals, listing the Croatian event at the port of Petrcane on the Dalmatian coast as the place to be.

From July 2nd until 11th, holidaymakers can take a sailing holiday in Croatia and stop off to see acts including Mancunian DJ Mr Scruff, Rob da Bank and Dave Beer.

Ms Buckley commented: "If dance music on the water is your kind of thing, you'll love the Garden Festival."

She said that festival-goers can also enjoy plenty of impromptu boat parties setting sail throughout the festival.

Tourists can make the journey to the Garden Festival during a sailing holiday, stopping off at the island of Hvar or the UNESCO World Heritage town of Dubrovnik.
