Croatia holiday 'ideal for all music lovers'

Holiday makers to Croatia may want to time their holiday so they can see the comeback of a legendary band.

Guns N'Roses are to play in the capital Zagreb on September 24th.

This could see music fans flocking to the country, to see one show of the ten-city tour promoting the band's long-awaited album On Chinese Democracy.

However, music lovers travelling to any part of Croatia are well-served, as the country has several festivals with different types of music.

One of the most popular events is Soundwave, held in a picturesque village called Petrcane, close to Zadar.

Over three days, between 23rd and 25th July, dance fans will be able to listen to huge international acts such as Toddla T, Benji B, Smith & Mighty, DJ Format and DJ Vadim.

Travellers wanting to see as much of the country as possible should also head to the coastal cities of Split and Dubrovnik, which have plenty to offer in terms of culture and food.
