Grab some festival action on a Croatia holiday
Croatia holiday makers should be sure to catch a festival this summer, according to one music expert.
Croatia holiday makers might want to make sure they catch some festival action in what has been described as one of the most vibrant destinations in Europe.
The country has a score of festivals which have become staples for music lovers wanting to relax in guaranteed hot weather.
Writing for the BBC, travel and music writer Georgie Rogers tells readers on why a Croatia holiday is such a popular choice with musicians and travelers alike.
In particular, she highlights how INMusic, which is relatively small compared to Exit and some other European festivals, has attracted big names because it is different from other events.
Someof the artists playing there last week included Massive Attack and the Flaming Lips.
Frontman Wayne Coyne told the BBC: "It's simply bands, you and your friends, and trees, and it feels like it's about music and ideas in this little community."
If you are wondering what to catch next in your summer festival itinerary, Soundwave could be your next best option.
It runs from 23rd to 24th July and features Cinematic Orchestra and Toddla T, as well as a host of other festival circuit names.
