Croatia holiday is ideal for 'wellbeing'

Croatia holiday is ideal for wellbeing More than six million people in the UK rate good weather as the most important factor for their happiness, claims new research.

A study by Lloyds TSB found that 6.8 million people thought it was essential to their well-being.

As temperatures dip again in the UK, a Croatia holiday could be the perfect solution to getting some sun.

Good weather was considered more of a boost than a productive day at work, exercising and eating healthy food.

While the sun got 7.91 on the scale of good influences on mood, eating healthily and doing exercise got 7.17.

On a Croatia holiday, travellers can not only benefit from excellent coastal weather, they can also find it is the ideal destination for getting in some exercise.

A Croatia sailing or cycling holiday, combined with trying out local foods, which are particularly influenced by seafood, could take your wellbeing off the scale.

Commenting on the findings of the report, psychologist Glenn Wilson said: "Often the 'smaller' things in our day such as good weather can actually have the biggest impact on our mood, primarily because they are often unexpected."
