Discover Dali on an Adriatic cruise
People with an interest in art, or those who would like to expand their cultural horizons, will have the opportunity to visit a fascinating exhibition during Adriatic cruises this year.A display celebrating the life and work of the Spanish artist Salvador Dali opened at the old city hall in the Pjaca square in Split on June 24th and will run until September 24th.
Travellers planning to stop off in the city during a Croatia sailing holiday will be able to learn more about the life and work of Dali, who was one of the most famous and influential artists of the 20th century.
He was a central figure in the Surrealist movement and created famous works such as The Persistence of Memory and Lobster Telephone.
Holidaymakers visiting Split during an Adriatic cruise this summer have also hadthe opportunity to absorb some culture at the city's Summer Festival, which will continue until August 15th.
