Symphony orchestra to entertain Dubrovnik cruise passengers Travellers enjoying Dubrovnik cruises this month will have the opportunity to enjoy some sophistication and culture to go with the relaxation and sightseeing.

The Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra will perform an evening concert at the Rector's Palace on September 30th.

Due to begin at 21:00 local time, the show will feature renditions of Franz Liszt's Piano Concerto no 1 and Ludwig van Beethoven's Sixth Symphony.

People planning to visit Dubrovnik during a Croatia holiday will be able to hear the music played by performers such as pianist Stefani Grbjc, while Ivo Lipanovic will conduct the orchestra.

The coastal city hosts a range of concerts throughout the year, with the Sorkocevic Quartet (October 4th) and Dubrovnik String Quartet (October 6th) both set to perform at St Saviour's church over the coming weeks.
