Varenik Days began in the city of Supetar on September 27th and will continue until October 2nd.

According to the Croatian Times, Varenik is a traditional side dish made using grape juice that has been boiled for a long time.

People planning to visit Brac during a sail and cycle holiday in Croatia can head to restaurants in Supetar that serve a range of dishes featuring local wine and grape varieties.

There will also be plenty of cakes and other foods served up to give visitors an insight into some local culinary traditions.
