Celebrate sweetness on a Dubrovnik cruise

Now in its fourth year, the festival runs from October 1st to 3rd and is a great combination of flavour and fun.

The festival hopes to promote top quality products from smaller producers from all over Croatia and other countries.

Many different jams and marmalades from these regions can be sampled during the festival, which runs all weekend.

Although the festival is a showcase for gastronomic excellence, it is also a time to embrace custom with many people choosing to attend in the event in traditional dress.

Visitors and tourists on a Croatia holiday are of course welcome to try and buy the products on offer and there will even be a competition to pick the best jam.

People planning a Croatia cruise, should stop off at Luža Square in time for the festival opening, which will be carried out on Saturday, October 2nd at 10am.
