Check out the Rab Fjera on a Croatia cruise Croatia cruise passengers can visit Rab this summer to attend a special event.

The annual Rab Fjera will return from July 25th to 27th this year, according to the Croatian National Tourist Board.

Arranged to mark the holidays of St Jacob, St Anthony and St Christopher, the festival encompasses a number of elements that provide an insight into Rab's medieval past.

Travellers visiting the island during sailing holidays in Croatia will be able to see everything from crossbow tournaments to spectacular processions featuring musicians, flag bearers and people dressed in period costumes.

In its introduction to the event, the Croatian National Tourist Board states: "The Rab Fjera revives the memory of what the town used to be like in the times when it was celebrating its freedom and its independent municipality."

One Croatia cruise route begins in Opatija and visits Krk, Rab and Zadar before heading to Losinj, Cres and other destinations.ADNFCR-2466-ID-800383679-ADNFCR
