Mljet to entertain Croatia holiday visitors

Mljet's summer cultural season will return this year, offering plenty of fun for people on Croatia holidays.

There will be a range of events, exhibitions and celebrations taking place on the island between July 8th and August 16th.

Highlights for visitors to look out for include guest performances by musicians, displays of work by academic artists, folklore shows and theatre productions.

As well as enjoying themselves and soaking up the culture of their destination, people visiting Mljet during luxury Croatia cruises will be doing their bit for a good cause, as all proceeds from the cultural programme will go towards a foundation for the maintenance of St Mary's Benedictine monastery.

According to the Croatian National Tourist Board, Mljet is "the most beautiful island in the Adriatic Sea", partly thanks to its scenic national park.
