Check out Zagreb Time Machine on Croatia tours

There will be some special sights on offer to travellers visiting Zagreb during Croatia tours this year.

According to the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Zagreb Time Machine event will return to the capital city from April 23rd to September 24th 2011.

The event sees participants dress up as distinctive characters from times gone by in a celebration of the culture and heritage of the city.

People planning to head to Zagreb during Croatia holidays can take a walk through the Upper Town area to see a range of unusual figures, from singers of old parlour ballads to peasant women from the village of Sestine.

There will also be waltz and tango music at the pavilion in Zrinjevac park and much more to enjoy during the festival.

Croatia tours provide the opportunity to see Zagreb and several other destinations in the country, such as Split, Pag and Rijeka, as well as Ljubljana in Slovenia.
