Sample some delights and delicacies on an Adriatic cruise

Adriatic cruises will offer the chance to attend an event showcasing local cuisine this year.

The Delights and Delicacies show will take place along the waterfront in Fazana, a village in the Istria region of Croatia, on April 24th.

According to the Croatian National Tourist Board, the festival will provide the opportunity to sample an array of local treats and gastronomic specialties, including asparagus and mussel dishes, cheese, honey and Istrian wine.

Travellers visiting the area during Adriatic cruises can attend events at various locations along the waterfront and also visit restaurants in Fazana and Valbandon, which will be taking part in the festival with their own celebrations and promotions.

There will also be a traditional family bicycle race to entertain locals and visitors.

Holidaymakers will have the opportunity to see parts of the Istria region if they catch flights to Pula before embarking on their Adriatic cruise.
