Savour Krk's food and wine on an Adriatic cruise
Adriatic cruise passengers will be stopping off on the island of Krk this month to sample local food and wine.Wine producers and caterers will come together to host a series of events showcasing some of the region's finest culinary offerings from May 26th to 29th, according to the Croatian National Tourist Board.
There will be a range of activities and experiences on offer to guests, including guided tastings and lectures.
Visitors can also look out for exhibitions of watercolour paintings created using wine and even attend workshops focusing on this particular art form.
During the evening, Adriatic cruise passengers visiting Krk will be treated to live music and theatrical performances, which will be staged in catering facilities and on the streets of the island's main town.
Travellers interested in seeing this destination can book a place on a Croatia sailing holiday itinerary that begins in Opatija and heads to Rab and Zadar after visiting Krk.
