Enjoy some classical music on a Dubrovnik cruise Dubrovnik cruise passengers will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy classical music and culture this year.

Orchestras and ensembles will visit the Croatia holiday hotspot between July 11th and August 25th for the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, one of the country's best-known events.

Every summer, the festival presents a programme of music, theatre, opera and dance in more than 70 open-air venues.

This year, visitors will have the opportunity to see the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra performing on Ruder Boskovic Square on July 11th, followed by the National Folk and Dance Ensemble on the next two days.

Music fans visiting Dubrovnik during Croatia holidays could also see the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra at the Rector's Palace Atrium on July 14th, while soloists from the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra (July 27th) and pianist Boris Berezovsky (August 20th) will also be playing.

Other highlights of the 2011 programme include a production of the Nikolai Gogol play The Government Inspector, which will be performed at the foot of Minceta Fort from August 11th to 14th.ADNFCR-2466-ID-800557166-ADNFCR
