Croatia holidays: Bon Jovi arrive in Zagreb

The Croatia holiday destination of Zagreb is currently playing host to American rockers Bon Jovi.

Croatia's capital city could enjoy a boost in profile as a result of a live show by the band, who are due to play at the Maksimir Stadium tonight (June 8th).

They will then continue their tour of Europe, visiting cities including Munich, London, Istanbul and Athens over the coming weeks.

Bon Jovi are known for rock anthems like You Give Love a Bad Name and Livin' on a Prayer, both of which featured on the band's 1986 album Slippery When Wet.

People who prefer dance tunes to rock can arrange Croatia holidays this year to check out events such as the Hideout Festival, which boasts a line-up including Pendulum, Annie Mac, Andy C, Simian Mobile Disco and Sub Focus.

The festival will take place at Zrce Beach on the island of Pag, a popular Adriatic cruise destination, from July 1st to 3rd.
