Porec is also a great place to explore during Croatia tours. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is set around a harbour and is almost 2,000 years old.

The main tourist sights include the town's beautifully preserved Romanesque houses, its Venetian and Gothic palaces and its impressive Euphrasian Basilica, which was rebuilt in the 6th century under theByzantine Empire.
