Check out the Hartera Festival on a Croatia tour

Dance music fans taking Croatia tours this summer might have the chance to check out the Hartera Festival.

The event, which is held in the atmospheric and retro surroundings of a former paper factory in Rijeka, will take place from July 14th to 16th.

A range of acts will be entertaining the crowds at the festival, including Hercules and Love Affair, James Holden, Fairmont and Elemental, all of whom will be playing on the Friday.

Croatia tour guests visiting Rijeka on July 16th can head to Hartera to hear sets from the likes of Photek, Pearson Sound, Trentemoller, Brodinski and others.

The festival was founded in 2005 and now welcomes some 30,000 people every year.

People planning Balkan road trips this year can visit Rijeka as part of a tour that starts off in the Croatia holiday hotspots of Split and Pag, before heading to Plitvice, Zagreb, Ljubljana and Postojna and finishing in Krk.
