46% of vacationers would consider another Croatia holiday

A new survey by Visa Credit Card Company has found that 46 per cent of holidaymakers who have been on a Croatia holiday would visit again.

Locations for sailing holidays in Croatia remained popular too, with guests staying for an average of seven days on the Balkan nation's Adriatic coast.

The survey found those on Croatia holidays also spent moderately, with around 62 per cent of vacationers spending between 31 and 50 Euros per day.

These prices put Croatia in line with other Mediterranean holiday hotspots and reinforce the growing popularity of holidays in the Balkan region.

The Visa card data also showed that the internet played an important role in helping them gain access to information on potential Croatia holidays.

 22.5 percent of those surveyed citing the web as their main source for advice on travelling in the Balkan region.

Last month, a poll by I-Spy Camping also saw UK holidaymakers vote Croatia the fourth most popular holiday spot for families.
