Croatia holidays a hot pick for travel agent in 2012

Dubrovnik cruises could be in high demand this summer after a UK travel agent singled out Croatia holidays as a hot pick for 2012.

UK-based travel agent Melanie Kay Johnson pointed to Croatia as a must see destination for holidaymakers seeking value for money.

Speaking on aboutmyarea.co.uk, Miss Johnson singled out the Balkans nation as one to watch, noting "Croatia has so much to offer".

In particular, the UK travel expert was full of praise for what she described as "one of the most picturesque coastlines in the Mediterranean".

She noted that the region had "over 1000 islands and over 4000km of white sands" that are spread from Istria down to Dubrovnik.

With plenty of beaches to go around and value for money in cities like Hvar and Makarska, Croatia is likely to prove popular with UK visitors.

Many travellers will also be attracted to the range of dance music festivals set to descend on Croatia in the summer.
