Tina Turner far from Nutbush City Limits on Croatia holiday

Legendry US songstress Tina Turner arrived in Dubrovnik yesterday (August 22nd) as the veteran star prepared to embark on a sailing holiday in Croatia over the next week.

According to a report from daily newspaper 24sata, Turner was greeted by local staff who offered the singer - perhaps best known for her hit “What’s Love Got to Do With It?” - a gorgeous bunch of flowers before she set off on her trip.

The rock and roll legend has embarked on an Adriatic cruise today, boarding a private luxury super yacht - one of the biggest in the world.

Owned by Swiss billionaire Sergio Mantegazzo, the vessel boasts 14 members of staff and a private helicopter pad.

Prior to setting off from the city, Turner offered reporters some brief words ahead of her Croatia cruising experience.

"The city is beautiful. I am enjoying summer," she told the local news provider before heading off in search of summer sun and cool blue Balkan waters.

Turner is the latest big name to enjoy a spot of island hopping Croatia style, with the 72-year-old set to explore the vast array of islands littered off the country’s stunning western coast.
