Find 'undiscovered gems' on Croatia sailing breaks

Find undiscovered gems on Croatia sailing breaks Travellers taking Croatia sailing breaks this year will have the opportunity to relax on some idyllic islands that have been described as "undiscovered gems".

The Observer compiled a list of 20 little-known islands that included two destinations in Croatia.

Lopud is only two miles wide and has no cars, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The island is about an hour away from Dubrovnik by boat, meaning it is easily accessible for people on Adriatic cruises.

The Observer recommended a visit to Sunj beach on Lopud, which boasts luxurious sandy beaches.

Sveti Klement is the largest of Croatia's Pakleni Islands and is just a short boat ride away from Hvar, another popular stop on Croatia sailing breaks.

There are plenty of sandy coves and secluded beaches to visit on the island, as well as a botanic garden created by the Meneghello family, who have lived on Sveti Klement since the 19th century.

Other islands worth visiting during a Croatia sailing holiday include Vis and Korcula.ADNFCR-2466-ID-19209699-ADNFCR
