'Go with the flow' on Croatia sailing holidays

Go with the flow on Croatia sailing holidays Travellers enjoying Croatia sailing holidays should 'go with the flow' during their break and allot plenty of time to swim in the Adriatic Sea, according to an article in the Irish Times.

Writer Catherine Mack went on an open-water swimming holiday in Croatia, saying that she chose the country after hearing "great things" about it and because jellyfish are "few and far between in the Adriatic".

Ms Mack began her trip on the island of Prvic, which is located close to other popular hotspots that travellers can visit on Croatia sailing holidays, such as Krk and Rab.

She then swam a stretch of water between the islands of Zmajan and Kaprije, passing through an expanse of blue sea before arriving at her destination to enjoy a lunch of pasta, rice salads, cold meats and fruit.

Another highlight of the writer's adventure in Croatia included a visit to the Krka Falls, which she described as "breathtaking".

Travellers on Croatia sailing holidays can embark on a number of adventurous activities of their own, such as cycling around the country's scenic coastline and islands.
