Mickey Rourke enjoys a Croatia holiday

British travellers on Croatia sailing holidays are not the only ones currently enjoying the delights of the Adriatic coast, with film star Mickey Rourke recently spotted in Dubrovnik.

The 55-year-old star of movies such as Diner and Sin City was photographed relaxing on the beach and swimming in the sea with a female friend.

He was in Croatia to attend the Dubrovnik Film Meeting to promote his recent release The Wrestler.

Rourke first appeared on the movie scene in the early 1980s and has recently enjoyed something of a resurgence in his career.

The Adriatic coast appears to be one of the destinations of choice among A-list celebrities this year, with pop star couple Beyonce and Jay-Z recently enjoying a Croatia sailing holiday.
