Croatia holidays: Brits planning late summer breaks

Croatia holidays: Brits planning late summer breaks Sail and cycle holidays in Croatia could prove a popular option among the many British people who are reportedly planning getaways during the late summer and autumn periods.

Monarch Airlines carried out a survey recently which found that 70 per cent of UK travellers are planning to make a late booking and head overseas this year.

Nearly half (47 per cent) said that the bad summer weather at home had affected their plans and encouraged them to make last-minute plans for a Croatia holiday or another overseas break.

Almost a quarter (23 per cent) said they are intending to take a break later this year.

Travellers interested in taking a sail and cycle holiday in Croatia still have the option of booking a trip that departs on October 4th.

LizSavage of Monarch said: "The results of the poll clearly indicate…that a huge number of holidaymakers who have holidayed in the UK this summer are now planning to travel overseas to take advantage of some fantastic late deals and guarantee themselves some sunshine before the grey winter months set in."

People who choose a sail and cycle holiday in Croatia can follow an itinerary that takes in destinations such as the islands of Hvar, Solta and Brac.ADNFCR-2466-ID-19342089-ADNFCR
