Croatia cycle holidays: Internet a 'vital' part of booking process

Croatia cycle holidays: Internet a vital part of booking process People arranging Croatia sail and cycle holidays and other trips abroad now rely on the internet as a vital part of the booking process, according to a research company.

Michelle Fuller, director of eDigitalResearch, referred to studies showing that more than three quarters (75 per cent) of holidaymakers now book their flights online.

Furthermore, nearly two thirds (63 per cent) of people arrange their entire break on the web.

Ms Fuller added: "We are also seeing online as the preferred method of researching prior to booking."

The eDigitalResearch director encouraged travel companies to provide internet support services, immediate email feedback and other facilities for their customers, making it as easy as possible to arrange Croatia sail and cycle holidays and other trips abroad.

According to a recent study by customer experience management firm Tealeaf, more than half (53 per cent) of British internet users are now conducting more transactions online as a result of the current economic climate.

People who decide on a Croatia sail and cycle holiday for their next break can choose from two routes that offer the opportunity to visit destinations such as Split and Hvar.ADNFCR-2466-ID-19414298-ADNFCR
