Croatian visitors urged to be 'flexible'

Croatian visitors urged to be flexible Tourists looking to go on a Croatian sailing holiday have been urged to be flexible if they want to receive the best value-for-money package, a travel expert has claimed.

According to On the Beach, Brits looking for an overseas trip in 2010 will increase their spending but will still be searching for good value.

However, increasing numbers of holidaymakers are continuing to be flexible over price and when they travel - many are expected to look for breaks outside of traditional peak periods to ensure they receive a cheaper price, the company explained.

Alistair Daly, On the Beach marketing director, said: "Flexibility is key. Travelling outside of the peak season can vastly reduce costs. Other ways to save money include choosing all-inclusive holidays and travelling from non-local airports."

He added that those looking to book a Croatian sailing holiday for next year should attempt to do it as early as possible.

Previous research from travelsupermarket.com revealed that Brits travelling overseas to places such as Croatia are planning on increasing their spending by four per cent in 2010.
