Croatia holidays: Tourism industry represented at London fair

Croatia sailing holidays and other tourism opportunities on offer in the country were represented at a major event in London this month.

The Croatian Tourist Board attended the World Travel Market (WTM) at the ExCel centre from November 9th to 12th.

Thought to be the world's largest travel industry event, the WTM attracts thousands of tourism professionals to England's capital city every year.

Agencies promoting various locations across Croatia were represented at the fair, including popular Adriatic cruise destinations such as Dubrovnik.

The national tourism minister presented a number of measures that will affect people visiting the country next year, including new advertising initiatives and methods of organising tourist arrivals.

People will be planning their Croatia sailing holidays soon ahead of the start of the season in April 2010.

Travellers can choose from traditional cruising routes, sail and cycle itineraries and adventure tours that include activities such as rafting, scuba diving and mountain walking.
