Croatia holidays made easier thanks to tourist card

Croatia holidays made easier thanks to tourist card Brits embarking on a Croatia holiday look set to benefit from the new Zagreb Card which has been launched by the city's tourist board.

The Croatian capital is often the gateway for holidaymakers embarking on a Croatia sailing trip, and visitors will now be able to make the most of their stay in the country's largest city.

In addition to unlimited travel on Zagreb's public transport system, tourists will benefit from discounts on nearly all of the city's museums and discounts at its restaurants and shops.

Cards can be purchased to last for either 24 or 72 hours, with a booklet also provided detailing the locations where discounts can be found.

The card can be purchased online or at any of Zagreb's tourist information centres.

Zagreb's Contemporary Art Museum, located on Avenija Dubrovnik, will open on December 11th.

One of its highlights is expected to be the permanent Collections in Motion exhibition, which has been compiled by Nada Beros and Tihomir Milovac.
