Get the most out of Croatia holidays with new guide

People planning Croatia holidays and other getaways next year will be able to make the most of their break with the help of a new guide.

Lonely Planet announced that it would be releasing a new edition of its Best Ever Travel Tips book, which features contributions from writers, industry experts and staff.

Before setting off on a Croatia sailing holiday, travellers can use the book to get advice on topics including packing and preparation, money, health and safety, air transport, technology and eco-tourism.

Tom Hall, author of the new guide, said widespread access to the internet has made it more difficult to provide tips that people have not already heard.

In his introduction, Mr Hall writes: "Search the web for 'travel tips' and you'll get 181,000,000 results at the click of a button.

"When putting together Lonely Planet's Best Ever Travel Tips, then, we knew we had to work a bit harder than usual to help you make travel better. This book is part of the ongoing effort to raise the bar."

Croatia sailing holidays offer the opportunity to see beautiful cities and islands along the Adriatic coast or participate in adventurous activities such as mountain biking and scuba diving.
