Croatia cycle holidays: Brits 'planning just as many breaks this year'
The majority of British people are set to continue taking Croatia sail and cycle holidays and other trips this year, according to a recent survey.Wanderlust magazine and the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) carried out a poll which indicated growing confidence among consumers in the UK.
More than four in five (83 per cent) said they are planning the same number or more trips in the coming year as in the past 12 months, while 81 per cent revealed that they are expecting to spend just as much.
The survey also revealed that destination continues to be the most important factor among people planning Croatia cycle holidays and other getaways.
AITO chairman Derek Moore said: "We know that people are less willing to forgo holidays these days and it's encouraging to see just how positive plans for travel in 2010 are already.
"This is reflected in tour operator bookings, which show that the desire to take holidays in 2010 is more than just an intention."
Croatia sail and cycle holidays offer the opportunity to combine outdoor adventure with visits to famous destinations such as Dubrovnik and Split.
