Visit 'charming' Trogir on a Croatia cruise
People who will be travelling along the Adriatic coast during a Croatia cruise this year should take the opportunity to see Trogir, according to Dubrovnik Travel. An article published on the site described Trogir as "a quiet alternative to the busy city centre of Split".
The destination is located about 28km north of the larger city and features on a popular Croatia sailing holiday itinerary.
Only 1,600 people live in Trogir, according to the Dubrovnik Travel article, meaning it is a "charming and relaxing place to spend a few days".
One of the highlights of the destination is its seafront promenade and the maze of winding streets located nearby, which provides plenty of opportunities for exploration.
The area has been designated a Unesco World Heritage site.
People who fancy visitingTrogir can choose a Croatia cruise route that starts and finishes in Split, stopping off in other destinations such as Zadar and Vodice along the way.
