EU discussions 'could boost Croatia holidays'

Officials in Croatia have been debating the country's chances of joining the European Union (EU), which could provide a boost for Croatia holidays.

According to the Croatian Times, the nation's ambassador in Austria, Zoran Jasic, joined a platform discussion this week to talk about the matter.

The conference took place in the Austrian city of Eisenstadt, where attendees examined the potential advantages and opportunities associated with EU entry.

If Croatia does join the 27-member union, as is widely expected, it could enjoy a number of economic benefits.
