Croatia holiday budgeting 'can be easy'

A Croatia holiday can be the ideal budget holiday – if you do enough planning.

New research from EZ Pay has found that over half of all younger adults between 25 and 34 surveyed had run out of money while on holiday.

Reasons included problems with their bank, theft, money loss and poor budgeting.

One way to avoid excessive charges abroad is to use a pre-pay travel card, according to the organisation.

It is one way of avoiding receiving poor exchange rates at airports – and it also means that your money is in one place.

The survey also found that four of ten people were more worried about what clothes to pack on holiday than they were about their budget.

Only one person in nine set their spending limitations ahead of their holiday.

Planning a budget could allow you to make the most of your Croatia holiday experience.

It is also outside of the eurozone, which should make it cheaper for British travellers contending with a weak pound.
