Croatia holiday: perfect for budgeters

Eight out of ten holiday makers plan to stick to last year's holiday budget, according to a new survey.

An Adfero street poll found that 80 per cent of people were going to spend the same amount on holidaying.

Less than a fifth (15 per cent) said that they would cut down on costs.

In a separate survey by Simonseeks, 70 per cent of respondents said they were going to spend "real money" on holiday, rather than max out their credit cards.

More than 50 per centof people said they were prepared to spend over three days looking for the perfect affordable holiday.
