Enjoy cafe culture on a Croatia holiday

Enjoy cafe culture on a Croatia holiday Travellers heading to Zagreb during their Croatia holiday will be able to immerse themselves in the city's cafe culture.

In an article for the Irish Independent, travel journalist Chris Leadbeater said summer is a great time to visit the Croatian capital, as it is lively and there is plenty going on.

In addition to concerts and national celebrations, tourists visiting this year can also enjoy great shopping, historical sightseeing, delicious food, art galleries and museum tours.

Mr Leadbeater recommended grabbing coffee in the town centre and watching the world go by before heading to an outdoor food market to sample some of Croatia's best delicacies.

He also suggested taking a stroll through the Botanical Gardens where "pine scented trails provide a fragrant experience".

Zagreb is the largest city in Croatia and lies in the north-west of the country.

A number of low-cost airlines fly to the city, making a Croatia holiday inexpensive as well as exciting.
